| The wide variety of cockpit sizes and broad range of performance standards needed by different paddlers can make getting the right fit for you and your boat a real trick.
You not only need the correct deck size for the boat but also the appropriate fit characteristic for you on the boat.
We recommend that you go with the "Best Fit" recommendation to fit your boat . Only use the "Tight" and "Loose Fit" recommendations if you must make a compromise to fit more than one cockpit size with one skirt. The "Tight Fit" does not mean a high performance fit, since this is a smaller skirt than is ideal for the cockpit size and the tight deck will work against the seal.
If the "Best Fit" size is too tight or too loose for you on the boat then step your skirt model up or down to get a fit characteristic more suited to your needs.
The Bombproof Dur-O-Ring provides no compromise Class V performance, while the EZ-ON Dur-O-Ring still provides a performance fit without being quite so stiff going on and off.
Our Bungee skirts are a real value with the G Skirt providing class IV performance approaching a randed skirt at a much better price point.
The Basic Bungee is a great value for the smaller paddler or beginner who won't be paddling beyond class III.
